Personal Update: 3 weeks of travel in August!

Starting August 1st, we will be headed out of Stuttgart, Germany and traveling for 3 weeks straight. While we have traveled 2 or 3 times each month, this will be our longest stint of continous travel since moving to Europe for the year, and I am so excited!!! :)

We were originally going to headed home to Vancouver at the end of August, and we had planned the 3 weeks of travel as an “end” to our journey. But once we decided to extend our trip until mid-December, we had already booked all of our accommodation, so we decided to go for it anyway.

Here is our schedule:

4 days – Barcelona, Spain
1 day – Stockholm, Sweden
3 days – Kiruna, Sweden
2 days – Stockholm, Sweden
3 days – Copenhagen, Denmark
1 day – Rotterdam, Amsterdam
2 days – Brussels, Belgium
4 days – London, England

I am most excited to visit Kiruna! Being from Vancouver, I miss hiking, the wilderness, and seeing big mountains. I think it will be a nice, relaxing getaway – one that is much-needed after months of seeing nothing big cities.

Kiruna looks beautiful and I can understand the longing for mountains and open spaces. I recently went to Copenhagen and loved it. Joe and the Juice is one of my fav coffee/sandwich bars in London but is of Danish Origins – there are plenty of them around in Copenhagen and they make wonderful smoothies and coffees.
